English is very simplistic. The only thing really going for it is how specific it is. We don't have words to differentiate a lot of things. For example, as you know, the kanji for mouse and rat is exactly the same. So is the kanji for sheep and goat.

I have only recently learned English, so I can definitely agree it is a bit challenging.
