[The camera clicks on, and there's a very focused Japan before he realizes the light has flashed on and bows his head a little. He's sitting in his room, hands now on his lap politely.]

Um, is this working? It seems to be...

Hello, everyone. Oh, um, I am the country of Japan, for those who have not met me. ..I hope I am not troubling anyone.. but it seems that failure to use these devices results in... rather unsettling shocks. That, and.. I wanted to properly learn how to use this device. It's so strange... so small, how can it do all of these things...

If you do not consider it a waste of time, perhaps those of you that have been here longer than I could answer a few questions?

Um, I suppose simple conversation is welcomed as well, if anyone is interested in that. It would at least... provide practice for using this device, as well as company.

Thank you all for your time..!

[Another little bow, and he ends the feed.]

You should be! It's definitely something to look forward to and it's only going to get better, I'm sure.

Japan-san it is. [ Okay. He kind of lied. Nobody gets away from Tohma without getting an honorific. ]

Most Western names are horrible sounding. They're not poetic and they're difficult to say.

[ HONORIFICS ARE OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE! ]

Yes, Western names are definitely interesting! I just think many of them are too rough sounding. Their naming scheme may very well be meant to just stand out... but I don't think it works very well. There's only twenty-six letters.

[ Switching languages to prove a point. That point is up for debate. ]

English is very simplistic. The only thing really going for it is how specific it is. We don't have words to differentiate a lot of things. For example, as you know, the kanji for mouse and rat is exactly the same. So is the kanji for sheep and goat.

Oh! I'm sorry. I didn't realize. You certainly speak it well enough, though.

[...]

You spoke with Denmark, didn't you. [ Not a question but a statement. ] I suggest you ignore him if you don't want a headache, especially after his declarations of owning Discedo.

I think you're doing very well. [...] His "The world must speak English!" exciement?

I don't think he's a bad person, just that he's... loud. And not the brightest crayon in the box.... He just needs to stop trying to take over Discedo.

Well, English really isn't so bad.

...That's true. Maybe someone should make him oolong tea and calm him down a little?

No one has tried yet as far as I know so it might!

I think it will help. At least a little. And it's very kind of you to offer to do it yourself.

[ It would! ]

That's better than always speaking down to someone, right?

[ I see~ ]

...They tried to have a war, earlier. Things got out of hand, but eventually they decided against it. "They" being the countries, I mean.

This city doesn't need a war and I doubt the countries need one either.
